Miami’s Electric Kif released their third album, Heist on March 10, 2017. I was ecstatic when they contacted me in September of last year, as I have been playing their album Take Your Time in my studio since 2015. The guys were awesome to work with. They sent me a pre-release copy of the album to play while I worked.…

I am very excited to announce that my painting #434 will be in the show Reunion at the Bakehouse Art Center in Miami. This show gathers a selection of artists from the Bakehouse’ 29 year history. I had a studio there from 2009-2010 and made a lot of great friends. I know some of the other artists in the show but many I just know of. Special treat: I will be at the opening on February 13.

I was asked to do an install in the “Case Studies“ windows for Miriam Preston Block Gallery by the City of Raleigh Arts Office. The exhibit is up from February 6 to the end of March.
City of Raleigh produced an interview with myself and the artists in the “Surface Matters” show also up this month. My interview is the last one so you will have to FFWD to the 59 minute mark to see my segment.
I am sad to announce that I moving my studio out of Golden Belt in Durham at the end of September. I love the space and the community but since the birth of my son Ryland it has been difficult to get here as much as I need to. Most of my recent work has been done at home (in the middle of the night). At any rate, as I transition to the new home studio I am having a studio cleaning sale 9/20 and 9/21.…
